cornish spirits ltd.
Cornish Spirits Limited first released their flagship product, Land of Saints Gin, after a successful crowdfunding campaign in November 2019. Although the campaign only raised £340, it is likely this was partly used to get the name of the gin out into the open and was used for marketing.
Mike and Sue Bearcroft are the founders of the company, and Mike enjoyed a successful career as CEO of a Physiotherapy Insurance Company, and has also chaired a professional football club and a radio station.
The ethos behind Cornish Spirits Ltd. is to try and be as eco-friendly as possible. They have partnered with the Fauna & Flora International, the world's oldest conservation charity, and donate at least 50 pence per bottle sold. Cornish Spirits is also a member of the Organisation for Responsible Businesses.
The organic gin is distilled by Atlantic Distillery, who have their own large range of gins, vodkas and liqueurs, and only produce organic products. They are also the only Cornish distillery that is Soil Association approved. It is a great choice for a producer focused on keeping their carbon footprint as neutral as possible.
