padstow brewing co.

The Padstow Brewing Company was established in 2013 by Caron and Des Archer, and remains a small, family run business with a hands-on approach to the operation. As the team expanded, the brewery's beers went on to win prestigious awards, such as the Champion Beer Award from Taste of the West in 2016.

With the environment in mind, all of the spent grain and hops used in creating the beers are donated to local farmers as pig and cattle feed, and a strict recycling policy means as little waste a possible is created. Not only this, but the brewery is keenly aware of it's local surrounding and needs. 10p from every sale of the 'Lobster Tail' beer goes to the National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow, and the brewery also supports the RNLI and the Fisherman's Mission.

The gin was a creation by Caron and Des in a tiny 1 litre still, before the final recipe was sent off to Trevethan gin for a larger batch run. It's made with hops commonly found in their beers, which provide floral and citrus notes.

Cornish Gin

This gin uses hops often found in the brewery's beers, such as Pocket Rocket and Windjammer.
