Made from molasses
Although it is not known if the distillery is importing rum and then distilling it with the ingredients, or importing molasses and distilling the raw product, rest assured that a distillation occurs in Cornwall. The spices used for this rum are allspice, cubeb pepper (seeds of a plant in the ginger family, that lend a citrusy black pepper note), orange peel, vanilla and cinnamon. This spirit is unaged and so the colour has likely been added afterwards.
