The colour of this gin is derived from the botanicals which, contrary to the common method of distillation, are steeped in an alcoholic liquid to create the gin. This is known as 'bathtub' or 'compound gin', and imparts different flavours and aromas than the traditional method, and also brings about this golden hue.
