st. ives blood orange gin
Made from grain
Further ingredients unknown
Blood oranges are well known for their bittersweet flavour, slightly more intense than a traditional orange with hints of raspberry. They are combined in the cold-compounding or 'bathtub' method that St. Ives Liquor Co. use for all of their gins, which involves steeping ingredients in an alcoholic liquid for flavour, aroma and colour. This resulting liquid is then the final product, and does not undergo any further distillation.
This gin is flavoured with blood oranges, cinnamon, nutmeg, safflower blossom, rosehips and some other secret botanicals.
