trevethan koneva bitter aperitif
Made from grain
Cinchona bark (quinine)
This Cornish alternative to Campari is a blend of dry, spicy and bitter notes. Cinchona bark, well known for the bitter compound found in its bark, quinine, is used alongside cassia, orange, and a selection of cranberries, goji berries and cherries.
Although delicious on its own or paired with soda, try alongside a Cornish gin and Knightor vermouth to build your very own Cornish Negroni; or go one step further and substitute the gin for a Cornish sparkling wine to create a Negroni Sbagliato (translation: the 'Mistaken Negroni').
