Cocktail Competition

At Southwest Spirits, we're serious about giving back to bartenders. That's why our cocktail competition is the biggest cocktail competition ever held in Cornwall.

It's a party for bartenders with a £1,000 cash prize - and that's just first place.

This cocktail compeititon is open to anyone in the industry.

Where

Our distillery - Treguddick Manor, Launceston PL15 7JN.

When

This is a full day going into the evening. Doors open at 2:30pm sharp, for the first competitors to begin at 3pm.

Rules

To qualify:

Your bar must stock Leaf Basil liqueur and have purchased 24 bottles by 30th June 2025.

The Gin Basil Collins or Gin Basil Smash must be listed on your menu from your first purchase.

Submit your application to competition@southwestspirits.co.uk by 30th June 2025

Your cocktail must use at least 25ml Leaf Basil Liqueur
Must show provenance for your local area
Homemade ingredients are allowed

For your online submission, please submit a photo with your inspiration, this will be shared to our intagram.

In the final competition you will be scored on:

Taste (10 points)
Basil Flavour (7 points)
Originality & Creativity (7 points)
Provenance (7 points)
Brand knowledge (5 points)
Ease to replicate (4 points)
